Change the Body Font

The Body Font setting allows you to customize the font style used throughout your WordPress dashboard, including for all text elements such as menu items, dashboard headings, widget titles, and more. This setting gives you control over typography, which can significantly affect readability, aesthetics, and overall user experience.

Choosing a Font Family

WP Adminify allows you to select from a wide range of font families. These include popular web-safe fonts, as well as custom fonts available in WordPress:

• System Fonts: These are default fonts found in most operating systems, such as Arial, Verdana, and Times New Roman. They are typically faster to load since they don’t require additional resources to be fetched.
• Google Fonts: WP Adminify also offers integration with Google Fonts, which gives you access to hundreds of modern and stylish typefaces. You can choose fonts like Roboto, Open Sans, Lato, and more, depending on your branding or visual preference.

To select a font:

• Click on the font dropdown list in the Body Font section.
• Browse through the available fonts, previewing each option.
• Select the font that fits your dashboard design.

Applying Body Fonts

Once a font family is selected, it will automatically be applied to all the body text across the WordPress dashboard. This includes:

• Dashboard menu items: All the primary and sub-menu items in the admin panel.
• Widget titles: Titles of the various widgets on your dashboard.
• Headers and body text: Any text within your dashboard that doesn't belong to menu items or titles.

Key Considerations

• Font Performance: Google Fonts may increase page load times slightly due to the need to download fonts from external servers. Consider this if performance is a priority.
• Font Pairing: If you’re using multiple fonts (e.g., one for headings and one for body text), make sure they complement each other in style and weight for a cohesive look.
