WP Adminify
Dark Mode and Light Mode settings for WordPress Dashboard
WP Adminify offers Dark mode and Light mode for the WordPress Dashboard by default. But if you are using WP Adminify UI then you wil get some extra customization for Dark mode and Light mode.
Light Mode and Dark Mode
In short, this option allows you to change the default WP Adminify logo to your logo, and you can schedule dark mode based on time or system. We have another dark and light mode switcher in the admin bar.
Let’s break down each step properly that is available in our Dark mode and light more customization area -
Layout Mode
This layout mode selector is the option that decides whether you would like to customize a logo for Dark mode or Light mode. The following option will dynamically change based on your layout mode selection.

Logo Type
You can set an image and text logo. Selecting the image allows you to upload an image to the media library and attach the image in the logo selection field.
On the other hand, if you select text type, you will get a text field and typography options to change font styles. For Ex: watch the following video for setting a logo for light mode -
Logo Size
The logo that you have uploaded will replace the default WP Adminify logo in the top left corner. If you think your logo doesn’t align properly in the top left corner, then adjust the height and width properly to make it suitable for your branding.
Mini Logo
When you use our folded menu or click on the collapse icon beside the “New” button in the admin bar, you will notice the admin menu collapse, and a tiny logo appears. You can change this logo from this option. By default, you will get the WP Adminify logo icon.

Schedule Dark Mode
You will not notice this “Schedule Dark Mode” option if you are on the “Light Mode” layout. So, make sure to choose “Dark Mode” layout and you will get the “Schedule Dark Mode” option.
Here you will get a schedule type called “System” and “Custom”.
If you select system, then WP Adminify will detect if your OS (Operating system) is on dark mode or light mode, based on your OS, your Dashboard will switch its mode.
Select custom to define a specific time whenever you feel comfortable to stay in dark mode.
