Remove Website Field in Comment Form

If you're looking to simplify your WordPress comment section, WP Adminify’s Disable Comments feature allows you to easily remove the website field (URL) from the comment form template. This is useful for minimizing spam or streamlining the comment form for a more user-friendly experience. Here’s how you can remove the website field using WP Adminify.

1. Access Disable Comments Feature in WP Adminify

To begin, log in to your WordPress dashboard:

• Navigate to WP Adminify > Security > Disable Comments

2. Enable the Disable Comments Feature

Make sure the Disable Comments feature is activated:

• Toggle the switch to Show (it should turn green).
• Once enabled, a variety of options related to comment management will become available.

3. Select the Option to Remove the Website Field (URL) from the Comment Form Template

Scroll down to find the option labeled Remove website Field (URL) from comment form template:

• Check the box next to this option to remove the website field from your comment form template.

4. Save Your Changes

After selecting the option to remove the website field:

• Scroll down and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page to apply your settings.

5. Verify the Change

Once you’ve saved the changes, visit any post or page on your website where comments are enabled. Open the comment form and verify that the website field (URL) is no longer displayed.
