How to disable all Feed links?
WordPress automatically generates feed links for posts, categories, comments, and more. These feeds allow users and other platforms to subscribe to updates. However, some website owners may not want to offer RSS or Atom feeds, either for security reasons or because the functionality is not needed for their site. The Feed Links feature in WP Adminify allows you to disable all feed links across your site and redirect feed URLs.
1. Access the Feed Links Settings
To begin:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WP Adminify > Security > Feed Links.
2. Enable Feed Links Setting
Ensure the Feed Links feature is enabled by toggling the switch to the Yes. This will disable the feed links across your site.
Disabling feed links ensures that no RSS or Atom feeds will be accessible from your WordPress site. Additionally, visitors who attempt to access a feed URL will be redirected.
3. Save Changes
After selecting the option to disable all feed links, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes to apply your new settings.
4. Verify the Change
To verify that the feeds have been disabled and redirected:
- Try accessing a feed URL (e.g., https://your-site.com/feed/ or https://your-site.com/comments/feed/).
- You should be redirected and no feed data should be displayed.
