How to Disable Embeds in WordPress with WP Adminify?
You can embed YouTube videos and Tweets automatically in WordPress. But you can disable this auto embed feature with WP Adminify.
Let’s learn how to disable embeds in WordPress in a few simple steps.
Go to WP Adminify Performance Settings
First, you need to log in and go to the WordPress dashboard.
You can see the embed enable/disable option in the following path:
WP Adminify > Performance > Disable Embeds
Turn On Disable Embeds
You can see a toggle button just beside the disable embed setting.
Clicking the button will show a “Yes” and the color will be changed to green.
This means you have disabled the embeds including REST API embeds, Head tag embeds, TinyMCE editor, and remote embed results.
Save the Settings
Now, to save this, you need to click the “Save settings” button. The button is located at the top and the bottom of the page for your convenience.
Bonus Step: How to Enable Embeds
You can revert the settings back to default, if you want to keep the embed option enabled.
Go to the following path:
WP Adminify > Performance
Then click the “Reset Section”.
Note: This will change all settings to default for the performance tab.
Once you’re done, click the “Save settings” button to apply your setting.
