Show Last Updated Date

For better user experience and transparency, showing the last updated date of your posts can be beneficial, especially if your content is frequently updated. WP Adminify’s Post & Archives feature provides an option to Display Last Post Updated Date, allowing you to display the most recent update date of a post instead of the original publish date. Here’s how you can enable this feature using WP Adminify.

1. Access the Post & Archives Feature in WP Adminify

First, log in to your WordPress dashboard:

  • Navigate to WP Adminify > Security > Post & Archives.

2. Enable the Post & Archives Feature

Ensure the Post & Archives feature is activated:

  • Toggle the switch to Show (it should turn green).
  • Once enabled, various options for handling post and archive templates will be available.

3. Select the Option to Display Last Post Updated Date

Scroll down to find the option labeled Display Last Post Updated Date:

  • Check the box next to this option to show the date when a post was last updated instead of the original publish date.

4. Save Your Changes

After selecting the Display Last Post Updated Date option:

  • Scroll down and click the Save Changes button to apply your settings.

5. Verify the Change

Once you’ve saved the changes, visit any post on your website and confirm that the last updated date is now displayed instead of the original publish date.
