Show taxonomy ID columns in all possible types of Taxonomies

WP Adminify’s Custom Admin Columns feature lets you display important information in your WordPress admin panel. One useful addition is the Taxonomy ID, which helps you identify the unique ID for each taxonomy, including categories, tags, and custom taxonomies.

Here’s how to display the Taxonomy ID column for all types of taxonomies in WordPress.

1. Enable the Custom Admin Columns Feature

To add the Taxonomy ID column, you need to ensure that the Custom Admin Columns feature is activated.

  • Navigate to WP Adminify > Productivity > Custom Admin Columns in your WordPress dashboard.
  • Toggle the setting to Show to enable this feature.

2. Select the "Show Taxonomy ID Column" Option

Once the feature is enabled:

  • In the Custom Admin Columns settings page, check the box labeled Show "Taxonomy ID" Column for all possible types of taxonomies.

This will ensure that a Taxonomy ID column is displayed for all available taxonomies, including categories, tags, and custom taxonomies.

3. Save the Changes

After selecting the Taxonomy ID option:

  • Scroll down and click Save Changes to apply the new settings.

4. View Taxonomy ID in the Admin Panel

After saving the settings, the Taxonomy ID column will now appear in the WordPress admin panel for all taxonomy types.

To check this:

  • Navigate to Posts > Categories, or any other taxonomy-related page (tags, custom taxonomies, etc.).
  • You should now see a new column titled Taxonomy ID displaying the unique ID for each taxonomy.
